The customer awarded a project to develop an online event calendar that searches & lists events around a visitor’s location. The list will provide location and other details about a ‘Concerts’, a festivals‘, and ‘a Performing Arts , a movie, a theatre performance, an exhibition or any similar event happening in the vicinity of the visitor.

The objective was to make information of such events more readily available and improve relevant foot traffic at such events.  The event organizers will have an opportunity to announce an event and advertise also. The search engine will get traffic from people wanting to find an event happening in their neighborhood and generate revenue from advertisements published by events organizers.
