The need was to build paperless and fully automated practice software for medical practitioners, nurses and front offices that provided a single collaboration platform. The system should be scalable enough to keep track of appointments, schedules, insurance claims, and lab results and complete billing details.

The key requirements were:

• An appointment scheduler that could schedule and track appointments across multiple locations.
• Facility for nurses and medical practitioners to manage the appointment status, patient charts and diagnosis details. The system should also store patient related documents ( demographic details, lab reports, medication details, X-rays etc)
• The system should provide inbuilt forms (such as ACOG forms), comprehensive clinical database and links to complete patient’s clinical records
• Facility to generate review of systems in case of litigations, referrals etc that could provide a summarized view of diagnosis, lab results, medications, etc
• Facility to generate super bills in format compliant with insurance companies.
• Efficient billing system that facilitated electronic remuneration and accurate billing for faster claim processing.
