Cygnet Infotech's Chat software is equivalent to the Yahoo or MSN Messenger. User can log in to the software and Chat with one another when connected via LAN, WAN, Intranet, Extranet or even Internet. This software is built on the client / server technology and work on BASIC TCP/IP and HTTP protocol, which will allow passage through different gateways. This chat software would enable user to keep their contacts list stored on the server side and enable them to arrange the contacts in groups. A single contact can be put under more than one group. In addition, it would enable him/her to view online / offline status of his/her contacts when he / she are connected. Moreover, the user would be able to switch between two languages- English and a local language of his / her preference. For making the Chat easier to use in local language mode, on screen keyboard would be provided. Facility to transmitting and receiving files among the users would also be provided. By this facility user would be able to send / receive any kind of files with another contact. In future, voice chat would also be developed. |
