Cygnet
Infotech has partnered with a US based Technology
Company to develop a Document Collaboration
Management System based on proprietary technology.
Since the complete project is based on patented
material and as Cygnet Infotech is bound by
non-disclosure agreement more details cannot
be disclosed.
The tool is an "Intelligent Document
System" designed to help users streamline
the collaboration process and manage their
documents safely, securely and more efficiently.
The tool marries database technology with
word processing, and allows true document
collaboration electronically among unlimited
users at any number of levels which results
in a unique way to harness input from colleagues,
outside retained consultants / experts, clients
and opposing counsel on the different areas
in any agreement or document. The tool also
eliminates "version control" issues
in a very unique way. The tool allows users
to access documents from popular document
management systems like iManage, PowerDocs,
DocsOpen, WorldDox. The end-to- end document
collaboration solution is made up of the following

Windows
based "thin client" can be downloaded
and installed by end users or deployed by
system administrators. This is the core user
interface to the tool. Communication is carried
out via the http protocol. |

Tool
also consists of server software that runs
on windows 2000 based servers. All the thin
clients communicate with the application server. |

Delphi. |
