When this large petrochemical company wanted to move from its legacy manual systems for its employee log book management to a simple to use and manage e-log book, they selected Cygnet.
Cygnet’s brief was to design, develop and implement an e-logbook system, that is simple to use for first time information workers, secure, has simple and easy transition from existing manual systems, automate current manual reports and provide additional MIS for management to make informed decisions.
Designed a Usage management system for Lubricant consumption for all equipment in a Cement Plant. The system is designed to control inventory, use and misuse, equipment wise lubrication history, service alerts, business intelligence for lube ordering, machine consumptions and performance.
When the project was awarded to us we created a web based comprehensive management system. The system managed complete track of lubricant inventory and equipment tracking of company assets that utilized the lubricants. The system maintains the details related to equipment wise lubricant usage.
Manual methods of document management and no centralized repository was creating chaos in the client organization. Since this world class engineering company was spread across locations need arose for a centralized secure platform to facilitate the management of information, improve integration between marketing, tendering and back-office systems, reduce costs, and improve community- building among dispersed employees.
